Re: Biggins
Although he got better in the second half, it still wasn't a fantastic performance at all. First half was very poor. I'm still stumped as to his role in the team. Doesn't really offer much apart from filling a shirt and on rare occasions being in the right place to pick up an assist or goal.
I said on the match thread, he only seems to get near the opposition when we have possession. In defence just stands off, doesn't pick up a runner or block a passing lane and doesn't challenge for headers.
Great ball across for the goal, but otherwise too many sloppy passes. Seemed to get involved more in the second half, but that hardly makes up for the rest of the season.

We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you

Re: Biggins
I think he is in the team by virtue of the fact he is under 30 and can get up and down. Something we lack when we have Taylor and Taylor in the middle. Surely he will be the one to be dropped for HardcastleBarra Marra wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:16 pm Although he got better in the second half, it still wasn't a fantastic performance at all. Re: Biggins
Not brilliant But he gets about the pitch more than most & certainly more than the other midfielders. I thought he put in a shift today , so well done.

Re: Biggins
He doesn't get up and down. He plays more or less as a right winger and does almost no defending at all. He put in a good cross for the second goal coupled with good movement by Brough but other than that did virtually nothing that I saw. Chris Taylor and Beadling played more or less like supplementary defenders. It worked out because we got a win but it certainly wasn't a great performance.bigmac95 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:20 pmI think he is in the team by virtue of the fact he is under 30 and can get up and down. Re: Biggins
have you ever got anything positive to say?,I doubt you've ever even played football, just get behind the team it's easy to pick on individuals but don't forget DON’T blame the players blame the management team they pick the players but hey what do they know, take a day off we've just won 2 on the bounce!Desmond2-2 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 3:36 pm Is not a footballer, he’s absolutely fukin clueless. Re: Biggins
I have been a big critic of Biggins but he has assisted or scored in most of our wins...
Is he the main man??
