Might be out of our price range but I believe this lad has cut short his spell in Turkey and returned to this country.

The manager has already said there won't be wholesale changes;-
It's likely Jack Hindle will leave as his contract was up at the end of 2020.
It's likely Reid and possibly Biggins will go back to their parent clubs.
There is a possibility White will return here on loan from Blackburn - he may have already been recalled by them - he wasn't even on the bench for Bolton today.
Given covid and lower leagues being off i think us loaning anyone out below National League level is unlikely.
My guess (and that's all anyone can do at present) is we will sign White plus 2 more players.
Lancashire;- born and bred

Why. 11 teams in 8 years. Maybe he cut his spell in "Turkey" short because it was Xmas !

What's with comments like this lately? It's a forum for fans to discuss opinions. Not a tactical advice line direct to the manager. A lot of things said or based on what we see or think. Obviously we don't have the knowledge, inside info, day to day interaction etc. We're just fans, passing the long, lockdown nights, discussing and debating (largely pointless and hypothetical) thoughts and opinions. It has no bearing on the managers decisions. It'd be an empty forum without differences of opinion.

To your last point. I'm sure if we waved enough cash in front of his face, from our mythical bottomless pot of gold, his new found love for Stockport might start waning and he might decide he wants to play in league 2 after all

Firstly, I am entitled to post what I want, as long as it's not derogatory
or insulting. I do not need any advice from you. Good grief. You seem far to serious and a bit stressed. They were light hearted posts. Chill out like the weather. " Passing the long covid nights" It's not the blitz! Have a nice day.

Fully get the turkey reference but the 11 teams in 8 years needs closer inspection.
4 of these were abroad,2 in France as a teenager.a fruitless two months in South Africa where he couldn't play as the club exceeded their foreign compliment and most recently a spell in Turkey cut short by covid restrictions.
3 short loan spells while he was at Chesterfield with 3 different clubs
2 spells at Blackpool with South Africa sandwiched between. His second spell ended as top scorer'
As I said probably out of our range as he was being pursued by a trio of Championship sides before he went to Turkey.

If it was light hearted then I've missed the point and apologise. There have been a lot of people on various threads who seem to believe that what's written here has a bearing on the team or the manager.
I too, am entitled to post what I want. I can't see where it was derogatory, so we're good there.
I still don't see what advice I offered. Ironically, you were the one offering advice.
And no, it's not the blitz, never compared it. Hardly comparable, being bored and comfortable with being in genuine fear for your life. Still under "stay at home" orders though, with everywhere closed, which was my point.
Stressed? You've no idea. I would think a lot of people are at the minute, looking at the threads that have descended into name calling and personal attacks lately. Which brings me back to the first point above and an apology if the point was missed.

Sounds like White has struggled for Bolton this season

Liked White unless loss of form due to a long injury think he would settle back here nicely if all parties could agree. Not a backward step same level and knows club.

Wouldn't say no to seeing White and Hardcastle back together for us. Would almost certainly get game time here as well, familiar with a lot of the squad etc.

If White has failed to establish himself in a stuttering team only 6 points above us and under the manager who got so much out of him last season, I'd be a tad wary and wonder if there might be other options.

Good question. You would imagine so but it'd be good to know. Didn't we terminate Greaves' loan last season? Or was he recalled? I would also add, are we paying 100% of the players wage as well?
I've waded through the EFL regulations :? I assume any players we have are on 'Standard Loans', in which case there might be an early termination clause already incorporated or, if not, parent and host clubs and player can agree in writing to an early termination. In each case such early termination can only be enacted during the winter transfer window.
Don't let the old man in.

Jack Bundle has tweeted thanking the club for his 2 and a half years. I guess that's him departed from the books then.
