Re: January Transfer window
See Eardley playing right wing back as he has a reputation as putting in good balls in the final third to give us more quality going forward down the right hand side,an upgrade from Connor Brown who will give u everything he has but limited going forward,Eardley played a lot at right back so the defensive side no weaker, another plus is that he is good at free kicks which we have been missing since Rooney. All well and good having extra quality on the right hand side but no good of the ball gets to him so slowly so here’s hoping for similar quality in midfield
Re: January Transfer window
Defender signed as i thought there would be so thats 1 down, 2 more midfielders and a striker to go! Attacking wing back by the sounds of it and can take free kicks
Few teams around us signing players left right and centre so lets hope maybr at least another 1 before Saturday's game then the rest next week

Re: January Transfer window
Very experienced and good to go. Already knows a couple of players through previous liaisons.
Re: January Transfer window
Brings much needed experience from all levels that will surely help others.
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

Looks like he was at Blackpool the same time as Ian Evatt, let's hope it's a good omen.

Re: January Transfer window
Poor signing, player loosing his legs like the half the squad. Not been good enough for Burton this season according to their fans. Was good about 4 years ago. Poor screams of panic. Ah well only 4/5 more quality signings needed
Re: January Transfer window
Poor signing????
Do you think we are competing with the Premier League?????
He is 32 not 52 and prior to last year played over 40 games per season for 3 seasons with Lincoln.
He went to Burton last year during a period where they had 3 managers and wasn't fancied by their new manager Jimmy Floyd Hass.....
Lets wait and see what he shows on the field

People writing him off before he’s even pulled on our shirt.....!
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
Re: January Transfer window
A Lewis wind-up? Age 32 is just a nipper. There are plenty of good players aged 34-36. A lad from this part of the world, Michael Dawson, signed a one year extension with Nottingham Forest last summer, now aged 37. Glen Murray, Wayne Routledge and Stuart Downing still playing at Championship level aged 35 or over.
Re: January Transfer window
If he puts a shift in, can cross and apparently take free kicks then he'll be an improvement!
