Barrow v Scun-thorpe United
Re: Barrow v Scun-thorpe United
Surely the 2nd half can’t be any worse than that first 45
If this is how Jolley likes to play god help us

The highlights video is going to be easy to put together.

Poor first half. Hope it improves. Both sides look like a team who'd rather not get beat than try to win it.
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you

Deffo need a couple of forwards in and a creative midfielder.

Adam says, it’s like a game of chess.. Goodwin says yes, but they don’t know where the pieces are going. Sums it up
Re: Barrow v Scun-thorpe United
Really frustrating, we have got worse as the half as gone on.

Thought we slightly edged it which is unusual for us. Let’s nick a goal now !

Goodwin has had some cracking lines today! The one about him going home if they crossed it cracked me up!AugustusCorpa wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:50 pm Adam says, it’s like a game of chess.. Goodwin says yes, but they don’t know where the pieces are going. Sums it up

Re: Barrow v Scun-thorpe United
it's obvious we're playing safety first but to be honest why not play 4 3 3 we surely must play in a more attacking way i know a point is ok but a win takes a bit of the pressure off !, playing James justboff Quigs is a waste of time the lads not physical enough to play there !

Amateur football, not worth £10.
Re: Barrow v Scun-thorpe United
DId some on here just expect us to carry on with the same approach that has not worked for us? Totally satisfied with that first half. It may not be pretty on the eye but we are clearly trying to eliminate the threat of losing the ball playing it out from the back. You can see its working. They havent been able to press any of our defence in possession which has been an issue. Getting that sorted first was crucial. Just need to be a little bolder in attack and we can go on and win this.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.
