Re: January Transfer window
Well done MJ and the board. On paper at least, these are the sort of players we should have brought in at the start.
Onwards and upwards!

Re: January Transfer window
Definitely wouldn't be shocked if it was the 352 formation with the new lad from Tranmere replacing Biggins - big centre forward next who can boss the defenders around like Quigley???LCBAFC40 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 3:05 pm Dixon
Eardley Platt Davis
Bramall Hardcastle Beadling (Biggins?) Kay
Quigley (James?)
Or
Dixon
Eardley Platt Davis Brough
Bramall Hardcastle Beadling Kay
Quigley James
Obviously be interesting to see any other players that possibly will come in before the window shuts....

Re: January Transfer window
Would like to see some competition for Quiggley, spends more time trying to buy free-kicks then acting like a petulant child when he doesn't get them than concentrating on his game, which he is good at when he puts his mind to it.

He needs a strike partner. I’d be very surprised if by the end of January he hasn’t got a strike partner.......ossickbluebird wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 6:22 pm Would like to see some competition for Quiggley, spends more time trying to buy free-kicks then acting like a petulant child when he doesn't get them than concentrating on his game, which he is good at when he puts his mind to it.

Not at all; it’s just the final piece of the puzzle we need now and as today has shown Jolley knows exactly what is needed

Re: January Transfer window
Heard that one... would snap him up if available. Lots of players signed that can play in a variety of positions which is great but Quiggs needs some help and we all know what Cooky can do.

Re: January Transfer window
As we don't have a game for a while, I've heard that Gareth ( groundsman) is ripping up the pitch and laying a massive sheet of paper down instead. As our new signings ( as usual) look good on paper! As the same usual posters said under Dunn and every manager we've ever had.
Maybe that's why fans always say " our squad is paper thin"
