Re: January Transfer window
Well with the window shutting for EFL clubs on Monday at 11pm we won't have long to wait to find out - then we can get on supporting the team instead of speculating and dealing with WUMs...

Re: January Transfer window
Obviously going to play 9-0-1 with Quigley working on penalty-winning techniques so we finish every game 0-0 or 1-0.

Agreed, it's madness, but apparently we are not to worry cos the chairman's an accountant.Paulmichael wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 11:38 amAm sorry but this is getting ridiculous, we now have 34 players including about 13 defenders, how the hell are we going to offload 10 plus players, majority of those players are only fit for the lower leagues which are currently suspended, wage bill must be uncomfortably high especially with no crowd income, good player or not, sure we already have enough defenders to copeHenneysKnee wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 11:31 am Signed a left back

people saying we can get rid of some but if I was an unwanted player I wouldn't be moving down a league especially for less wages. Ide just sit it out on full pay courtesy of Barrow until my contract expires.
It'll all be okay though as we do a half time raffle.

Dion Donohue signs a short term deal till the end of the season. Official.
Re: January Transfer window
Having 10 unused players on the books for a year will cost a lot less then dropping down a league.boyliegladbach wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 12:15 pmAgreed, it's madness, but apparently we are not to worry cos the chairman's an accountant.Paulmichael wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 11:38 am

Re: January Transfer window
Not a clue who finances what but ultimately it comes down to staying up. Take a hit now to ensure the future of the club
Re: January Transfer window
I must say I am surprised at the number of signings and the (assumed) cost. It looks as though we are going for broke.
Also a bit disappointed that another good striker isn't among them. Perhaps we have tried to get one and have been knocked back.

Judging by this he may not be around for long unless he has cleaned up his act.

Re: January Transfer window
according to Swindon fans his behaviour there has been exemplary. Only left Swindon because Sheridan tactically didn't have a clue.SKIPPER wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 12:39 pm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dion_Donohue
