Re: January Transfer window
Can only imagine we are building the team now and in summer we wont have that many coming in just a massive offload ready to go for the season after. The quality and level off what has brought in tbh gives indications that if all goes well this year looks like our owners want us pushing for the top.

All getting sorted out next month at Ulverston Auction Mart 'Prime Stock Sale' according to my sauce in the Broken Biscuits at Booth's.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...
Re: January Transfer window
Am I the only one a bit sentimental that we are seeing the breaking up of our title winning team? All these incomings mean many of last years squad will find themselves benched at best, and shipped off at worst. I can only think of maybe 4 who will start now

But isn’t.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
Re: January Transfer window
I'm sure the owners have been made aware of Jolleys signings.. They must agree and buy into his vision... Foundations are strong now.. We don't know what is happening behind the scenes, so have to trust and have faith and support them

Re: January Transfer window
Hopefully Paul Hornby will be on Radio Cumbria again at some point in the near future, put minds at rest

Re: January Transfer window
Can't say they haven't been given a fair crack in this division - who from last year's team can complain about not being given enough game time? Angus maybe. No point in sticking with players that clearly aren't good enough and no room for sentiment at this level.

Obviously we all know the story was [SwearFilter], but this is cutting: "I think I have seen him play a bit but, no, we are definitely not interested.”

Re: January Transfer window
I'd be more than a bit worried if these players had simply appeared without the Boards knowledge and blessing. This is Paul Hornby and Michael Jolley - not Paul Casson and Paul Cox!

Ooh, they are after a central defender!Moribund wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 6:02 pm https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/sport/ ... th-4937852
