We've lost by the odd goal and played well in far too many games this season for comfort. Silly errors have been our issue since the first game of the season now.

We need to be picking up points and I'm not arsed how we do it. Start keeping clean sheets and nicking goals. Points will keep us up not performances.

Danny Rowe- Have to say, he goes from club to club and always gets the goals. He never gets fazed, he never gets involved in the on pitch squabbles that go on around him, never goes over board with his celebrations, just gets out there and does it. Fair play to him.

We have to be realistic. It was too much to expect an immediate transformation with so many new players, especially away from home against a side that were unbeaten in 6.
This ^^^ What do people expect with soooo many Newbies making their debuts & away against the leagues best team ( on current ) form....

Half the new lads are rusty & they will take a few games to adjust to their new team mates & styles of play etc.

So your blaming all these new lads & gaffer for Dunn’s Duffers results??

Strange logic, These Newbies will take a handful of games to really gel & learn their team mates styles of play & our tactics etc

Haven't Bradford made 7 new signings the same amount as we have.

yes - but at least 8 of Bradford's starting 11 yesterday have been there all season and the additional ones who started have been here at least 3 games so have had a lot more time to gel.
I spoke to a Bradford season ticket holder in work last night and he said that was their hardest match since McCall was sacked - and that's with us having 6 players making their debuts and 1 more in only his 2nd match - and with us not having played for 2 weeks.
It will take a few games for us to gel as a team and yes we have a few hard looking games coming up - but so do the other teams.
Before Southend's game yesterday some of their fans were predicting they would be lucky to get a point from the fixtures in Feb....
Grimsby have played most of the teams at the bottom in January and only got 1 point from them (and that was a draw with Southend) and the way they lost yesterday will be devastating for them. To get back to 1-1 at home in the 93rd minute only to let Stevenage kick off and score within 10 seconds will wreck whatever little confidence they had.
yes we are only 2 points clear, but we also have 2 games in hand and our goal difference in 20+ better than both of them - so in effect worth another point.

Good post, just think the best teams (like ourselves last season) we we’re lucky with injuries and didn’t change a great deal and look how that turned out. But this season hasn’t been good enough.
in another note, Dunn was interviewed Wednesday and mentioned Barrow, thought we had a good young team, words along the lines of “most of them are hard workers in training” still thinks things would have turned around, but the board clearly couldn’t take that risk. He’s helping out at Wigan now, seemed disappointed that he’d left Blackpool to come to us and given so little time, but I’m guessing he would of been paid the rest of his contract to leave.

Am sure 8 of our players have played previously which is about the same as they had, am not criticising the effort or performance (apart from a couple of defensive lapses) just can't work out why we've concentrated so much on acquiring so many defenders and left ourselves so short of attackers we've even let one go out on loan, unless of course he has someone else in mind.

What were we expecting when we came into this league, straight up again. We will survive but lets get realistic to stay in this league is our aim nothing more nothing less, we will end up just doing that for this season and that will be our success.

I sincerely hope you are right but if you aren't I feel the club will be back to less than 500 regular supporters and owners who've sunk in a massive amount of money that they will never get back!
