Poor performance ??????
Hardly bloody brilliant, was it?
No, but certainly not poor.
It was a good match to watch.
Plenty of effort and probably both sides had an equal number of chances.
Even top Premier league sides don't produce brilliant performances every week.
A draw would probably have been a fair result, but this season fair results haven't been going Barrow's way.

Not sure I am pessimistic as some on here, but I can see where they're coming from.
I seem to remember that we didn't start well last year yet we were promoted - some would say by default - but fact is we were, and have to really try to keep ourselves in this division.
Anywhere above the drop zone would be good enough for me but we need to aim higher than that.
Much has been said about the need for the new players to bed in and play the style the new gaffer wants them them to.
As I think we all know the main thing we lack is someone who can actually put the ball in the net.
Once we get that - look out those teams above.

Second goal was poor. Lewis Hardcastle letting his man run past him into open space on the edge of the box slotting it in while he’s just jogging back. Not great when your captain isn’t setting an example. Very poor. Didn’t create anything

Is it me but wasn't Bradfords first goal very similar to the one scored by Southend against us? Player cutting in from the right and putting in a low shot for the goal. And both in first 5 mins of the games.

Yeah - defence not doing their homework by letting left footed players come inside on their ledt foot to shoot!

if I remember rightly think he did the same against Southend for what it's worth he's never a captain in a million years!

I’d expect to see a midfield 3 of the below for the most part now. All three comfortbale and assured it seemed:

Banks Donohue
Devitt

Agreed on this. Probably can’t do it really when he’s just signed but Davies should be captain now

stop talking rubbish all I said was not captain material (I have previously mentioned this about his age and the pressure with it and this was effecting his game!) I've also defended biggins throughout his time here ,get a grip man !

I thought exactly the same Andy. These are the simple, and should be avoidable mistakes that we need to cut out....they’ve cost us a lot of points this season.
This time though we outdid the Southend game by doing it in both halves yesterday.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

All im saying is, some fans are quick at jumping on a players back if they have a couple of poor games.
Regards to him not putting a tackle in on the player leading upto the 2nd goal, if he had put the tackle in and gave away a foul to which they scored he would have been taken to the cleaners on here, no win situation, by the way just my opinion, not talking rubbish man

Granted he probably could have tried harder but let's just take a minute and think how much pressure these players are under not to make a mistake and more so for hardcastle as hes the captain.
I also think taking the captains armband off him would probably let him play with a lot more freedom
