Josh Kay could miss up to 5 of Barrow's last 22 matches.
A booking in any of the clubs next 13 matches will see him receiving a 2 game ban.
A further 5 cautions after that this season will see him getting a further 3 match suspension.
With the club desperately in need of points and his services, he needs to cut out these unnecessary bookings.
More than half have not been from fouls but dissent.
I hope Michael Jolly can talk some sense into him.

You don't mind bookings, it's part of the game, but bookings for dissent are unacceptable and when they carry on as they have done for Kay then something needs to be said to him.

Getting frustrated didn't do us any favours yesterday, numerous times he held onto the ball in the last ten minutes trying to force the issue when there was an easier pass on.
Popular side since '03.

He gets a lot of bookings for either shocking attempts at tackling or decent. Some tim3s you can see why hes upset because a few challenges have gone against him when it looks like hes getting fouled but he does need to calm down as missing more games at a vital time in the season could cost us and maybe cost him his place in the team if he doesn't stop getting booked.

He needs to grow up and stop acting like a spoilt child. He has always come across very immature,I remember our previous manager alluding to this.

What's that they say about people in glass houses...

...or be competition/cover for Kay for when he gets a ban for his 10th booking in 2 or 3 games time....

it's not your saying he'll get booked that's bad as it's odds on he will sooner or later - it's the daft rolling on the floor and Quigley comments....

Lightened-up mate. Where's your sense of humour? Don't we need to have something to smile/laugh about during these terribly sad times. PS: I'm putting my farm on the Quigley bet.

Unfortunately he seems to be getting more and more of a liability these days

I wonder how much of the Bradford City incident (and subsequent FA charge) was down to him

Perhaps a few games on the bench or not being selected, and he might get the message that all this petulance is just not acceptable
