Re: Barrow v Cambridge match thread
that goal was pathetic kay gets caught day dreaming and the challenge from Thomas was p*** poor (Jones is better than him) we have to take the initiative we're posing Cambridge no problems Quigs needs to concentrate on his game instead of trying to win fouls all the time, we're second best all round!

Yes he is quality and is behind everything they do. Goodwin compared him with what Rooney was for us last season. Yet here we are with 30+ players on the books and our only player with a creative spark on the pitch isn't in the game at the moment. Meanwhile Hardcastle on the bench.PerthBluebird wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 3:48 pmBit of a difference in quality its like comparing chalk and cheese
There is no creative spark out there!

Trying to be positive but yeah, we don't seem to learn from anything in this leauge, some weeks we play class others poor.... quigers is a NL striker at best and spends half the game running for fouls, get the new lad on.

The new lad isn't even in the squad
Re: Barrow v Cambridge match thread
Thats my point, spent all this money with no differing style of play.... absolutely bizarre, could have hoolahan in this squad and he would look dreadful.

We are going to go down then. Team and tactics not good enough.
And on the 7th day god created football
Re: Barrow v Cambridge match thread
Second half could be a good test of Jolley’s tactical nous. Need a change of plan and tactics if we are going to threaten Cambridge.
Re: Barrow v Cambridge match thread
They have players running off Hoolihan and using the channels well, so far we have shown very little for our endeavours.
