Still injured no sign of him being back any time soon.
When asked about his 22 man squad by AJ on Radio Cumbria that had to be submitted to the EFL last week Jolly said its the squad from today plus Goodridge and Ndjoli. I suppose to that you can add Matt Platt, Brad Barry and possibly Mike Jones.
That makes the rest surplus to requirements and available i guess.

Difficult to know what to make of today. We were playing a well established team who've been together a while and who had a very influential player in Hoolahan. He completely controlled all their attacking moves but it was quite simple really, pass and move.
Their movement off the ball was impressive and Hoolahan always had more than one option in front of him, we have no-one who can do that in this team.
Saying that, we did pass the ball better at times and Devitt has real quality imho, really hope his hamstring isn't too bad.
We are a new squad of players who will take time to gel but I feel we are going to be more reliant on what other teams do rather than what we do ourselves.
My one question of Jooley is playing two young, inexperienced centre-halves against the most potent strike force in our league!! I'm sure a Hird/J. Jones partnership would have not been bullied as easily.

Would anyone agree that the main difference in the two teams today was a 38 years old creative midfielder who was at the heart of everything Cambridge did. Absolutely fantastic performance from Wes Hoolahan, totally bossed it.

I thought (especially in the first half) that we gave Cambridge far to much room in the middle of the park.
It was easy for them to move the ball forward.
We were not closing them down quick enough.
We need to start doing that as a team or we will lose a lot more games.

If Our manager new anything about football, he should have said to anyone near the little pensioner, just whack him. That's how it used to be. Take a yellow. He had the freedom of Cumbria. You could see it from 5 mins in. But we don't have any horrible nasty players in the squad.

The maximum squad is 22 (that’s for over 21s)
Anyone under 21 as of 1/1/99 doesn’t need to be registered.

If you are over 21 and not in the 22 then no you can’t play (a la Ozil at Arsenal first half of the season)

I presume you watched the game then you”ll have seen the sort of player we all felt was missing at the start of the season with Dunn and a player who was the key difference between both sides today, certainly from a creativity side.

Should have appointed some on short term with a bit of drive, grit and determination who would rant and rave on the touch line and motivate what ever players he had available to him.. Formation today wrong, tactics wrong and another manager who stands on the touchline watching the world to by. We haven't got time to blend, " get to know each other! " we need to win and soon or we are gone and if so I wouldn't be too sure about staying in the National league one of two big names recently have gone straight down again , cos if we do go there aren't many of this lot we could afford to keep . Jolley just stated on RC both Ndjoli and Goodridge were both fit and available today but he wanted them to watch from the stands to get a feel for how we play.....wowsers they must be confused to [SwearFilter] after that shambles.

We are DESPERATE for forward thinking players get em on the pitch and try and score a goal ffs. Attack is the best form of defence I’m sure the saying goes?

One comment I liked from Jolley's post-match interview - Adam suggested that with the team changes, postponements and injuries, things have been difficult, but Jolley said something to the effect that's life in football, these things happen and we have to live with them and manage them. He came across to me as someone who will take responsibility for performances and not make excuses.

I take your point Jim and am still optimistic, but I hope he is not having to take responsibility for us going down.

If this is true it must mean he is out injured for the season? If not this is a terrible decision he's our best CM we have missed him massively.
