I would like to wish him all the best for the rest of the season and he has my full backing. I feel slightly more positive with him at the reigns, the run of Cheltenham, Port Vale and Tranmere games (the latter being before Jolley really started to put his stamp on things) was the most cohesive we've looked as a unit all season in my opinion. Sadly some of those players are sat at home, but obviously Jolley didn't want them.

I don't think you can really single out the Scunthorpe game anymore as it wasn't any worse than what we've seen in recent weeks or under the previous manager.
Popular side since '03.

I have confidence that Rob Kelly will at least know what a formation is and how to use one; that’s a step forward.

We have to unite now and get behind him and the players (albeit still only bloody virtually)

Best of luck to Rob Kelly, even I have warm feeling for this appointment. Let’s get right behind him and the team, let’s get the passion back into the players and start grinding out the results that saves us from the trap door.

Good shout.
What's gone has gone.
Time for us all to back Rob all the way to the end of the season.
Good luck Rob. A difficult ask to keep us up but certainly not impossible.

There are plenty games left for him to turn this club round. Grimsby at home on 23/3 is a must win and I would hope that by the time we play Southend at home on 1/5 we will be safe. I'll have to have a couple of beers tonight. There's a lot gone on lately.

Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

This is a most interesting development and likewise, wish Rob all the very best. He certainly has my full support. It does make you wonder what has changed his mind concerning taking on the hot seat full time, or at least until the end of this current season.

Whilst we shall probably never know, it is interesting to speculate as to whether it was Rob himself who approached the board and suggested that all was not well on the good ship Barrow and in so doing, initiated the dramatic move of the managerial change. Whilst the signs of discontent were there, this revolutionary upheaval needed an immediate and seamless transition to a new regime, not a process that, with games coming thick and fast, would leave all the stakeholders in limbo for weeks or even days.

With Rob Kelly at the helm, we must now trust that after much searching and a lot of heartache and cost, the requisite chemical formula has been found to inoculate the club against the onset of relegation.

He was Dunn's mate of many years so I don't think he wanted to appear disrespectful after he left but with Jolley there is no tie in and looking at the bench yesterday Jolley seemed a man on his own alien from the other staff and players

Most wanted Dunn out and most wanted Jolley out so Kelly is our last chance at survival! If we go down then so be it but with a fight and if he keeps us in the league then make sure he offered a contract with who ever the club appoint in the summer. Theres no more excuses now, we can't blame DD, MJ, Furloughed players or the current players. We have enough games to survive (3 in hand on some teams) so we are either good enough and I really hope we are because i want to be at HS next season in the EFL2!

I have a good feeling that we will be staying up. Nearly 60 points to play for and after watching us play under Rob Kelly last time he seems to know how to manage the squad albeit we have a different set of lads now. Was really shocked the board acted so quickly but I have a sinking feeling we HAVE to stay up this season or we could be going back to the dark days. It seems we are boom or bust.

Time for everybody on here to get behind the board and Rob Kelly with a bit of PMA.

Positive mental attitude is that philosophy which asserts that having an optimistic disposition in every situation in one's life attracts positive changes and increases achievement.

Adherents employ a state of mind that continues to seek, find and execute ways to win, or find a desirable outcome, regardless of the circumstances.

This concept is the opposite of negativity, defeatism and hopelessness. Optimism and hope are vital to the development of PMA.

19 game season, all we can do is back him to get it right. We probably need 27-30 points.

No team has been relegated with more than 46 points - 23 more 'should' be more than enough.
