Quigley and James looked like a really good partnership.

Re: Oldham v Barrow match thread
Such a great match to watch and a deserved treat after all the recent madness.
Seeing Taylor marauding forward and back... inspiring positivity from others.
Well happy with that, and a bonus ending.
Buzzing for Rob Kelly and seeing Hird there especially. Glad we have their experience at the moment

Tremendous. Enjoyed it all. A cracking L2 clash. We really looked as though we belong in this league.

I like Rob Kelly. A plain talker who just tells it as it is. Seems like a good honest person

There is never much in these games. Just kept working hard and finally we got the right result. It was fully deservedHitthebar22 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 9:24 pm Tremendous. Enjoyed it all. A cracking L2 clash. We really looked as though we belong in this league.

Re: Oldham v Barrow match thread
He said 'football is a simple game' but i don't think he is the type to take a sly dig at anyone. He's concentrating on the job ahead
Re: Oldham v Barrow match thread
Hes dead right, football is an easy game. Leave the flip chart football for the big boys that are bank rolled where the average kid with a FIFA background could pick the same team with the same outcome.

And to top off the night Carlisles' annual bottle job is gathering momentum.
Re: Oldham v Barrow match thread
Glad to see Taylors legs hold out
. Considering he hasn't played for weeks, he was immense tonight.

Re: Oldham v Barrow match thread
The reintroduction of Jason Taylor for me set the tone before kick off. The bloke will be first to say he isn’t the most gifted but by Christ he will run through brick walls for the cause and that in turn spurs those around him to do likewise. Banks had his best game by far which is no coincidence.
Made up with tonight everyone of em were superb BUT this can only be a start it’s o to Bolton next, same attitude and fight again pls every game now is a cup final.

Really pleasing to see Taylor and Hird there tonight.
