Could have had a clear breakaway shot from the right-side of the penalty box with his right foot, but tried to switch it to his favourite left and the defender poked away the ball.

He was clean through on goal, albeit on his right side. Tried to cut in on his left foot but was dispossessed.
You just wish it had fallen to a player like Quigley or James.

Re: Bolton v Barrow match thread
It was funny from commentators on a team with Santos at the heart of their defence!
Could you oblige with tonight's lottery number, please?
Unfortunately it didn't. Thought our SA international did OK.Craigthered wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 4:29 pm Josh kay coming on should give us more threat in the counter

Seen a few stills of the goal, might not be as far offside as it seems.

Evatt on our penalty shout:
I spoke to their player after and he said ‘I’ve expected the contact and your lad’s pulled out and I’ve even told the ref that it wasn’t.’ So there’s no issues there. MJ’s done well to pull out. Credit to the referee and I’ve not said that too often of late, but in them instances and moments, he could have easily blown up. But to be fair to their player, he instantly held his hands up and said no to the referee and that’s brilliant honesty and great spirit.

Jason Taylor is going to do well to keep putting these 90 minute shifts in; games are relentless at the moment
