Nice to see another stats nerd on the forum.

Dont think PPG will be a factor in L2. Fully expect the season to end roughly on schedule. A complete failure of any one club in the EFL can never be totally excluded but very unlikely.

NL is more interesting, but I reckon that 2-3 more teams would have to cease before anybody started to question whether an NL PPG was legit or not. Dont think that there will be a catalogue of clubs doing a Dover. Main risk would now be that some clubs might choose to finish early if they've no incentive to continue and think they can get away with it.

My gut tells me that even were this to be the case the EFL would look favorably on any NL club that could "finish" its season in order to protect the pyramid structure. Also looks like quite a few NL clubs will reluctantly take loans from the DCMS.

Our fate is in our own hands. Finish above 23rd.
