Never mind the so-called big names. We at last have someone who knows his football. Let's hang on to him.

Re: Cheltenham Town (A) match thread
After Morecambe and *that* post-match interview with Jolley, I thought we were done for. He sounded totally befuddled and out of his depth. Also sounded like he'd completely lost the dressing room. Didn't think the board would sack him, but they did and bloody hell they have been rewarded big time. Incredible run of 4 wins in 6 with Rob in charge. The good thing is the team won't be looking at the table. Keep grinding away and take a look with 3-4 games to go. On current form we could be safe by then.

Fantastic result - really proud of that team and the management team, completely turned things around. Just watching it back on iFollow - the goal line clearance by Neil Eardley was absolutely brilliant. If that had gone in the momentum would be with Cheltenham and we probably would have lost. An amazing 10 days, 3 wins

The views of the fans have summed up the game tonight. Fantastic performance. But a mention for the commentators as well. Usully getting slaughtered by Barrow fans. They were superb. Non bias, very complementary, The best by far. Thanks guys.
Re: Cheltenham Town (A) match thread
Great result... Tom Davies motm ... he brings a calmness to the back 3 and reads the game so well. Does he ever lose a header?
Re: Cheltenham Town (A) match thread
Fantastic win and gritty performance from the lads once again. Every single player gave their all. Put tremendous pressure on the ball when chelts players had the ball.Brill leadership from jason Taylor. He epitomises what us fans want to see playing for us. runs himself into the ground every game. Leads by example does the man. Special mention for young bobby thomas, people were on his back big time after his mistake in earlier game. But the young lad has been tremendous since, and shown true quality and reliability. sure there will be blips in the future, but, he has a great future at least in the championship. Just goes to show, dont jump down players throats after a simple mistake. Well done once again from the manager/ coaches and everyone involved with our fantastic club. Over the moon.

Seasons to be cheerful.Part 16 3/4

Calm down. We are only five points away from the second bottom berth with two games in hand. That so called free hit tonight means nothing if we don't show the same will to win spirit on Saturday.

Not sure how Ntlhe managed to clear the one he did either; proper backs to the walls Barrovian spirit in that first half especially. The effort levels now are absolute chalk and cheese to what they were under JolleyBakewell Blue wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:31 pm the goal line clearance by Neil Eardley was absolutely brilliant.
Re: Cheltenham Town (A) match thread
Delighted by that. But my stress levels are taking a hit. If we get there I will never criticise mid table mediocrity! However, that is still some way off. Onto the next game I'm sure RK will instill into the team not to underestimate Crawley. As the mantra goes - it's one game at a time. This one is now over celebrate the night then onto the next one. We've earned the right to be 5 points clear of the drop but we know we must be relentless we all want to be at Holker St next season watching EFL football - that is the main aim for everyone.

Forza Bluebirds, absolutely a massive win, now on to to Crawley, four on the bounce.
Re: Cheltenham Town (A) match thread
We are also are only three points behind the two teams above with 2 and 3 games in hand on them, which if results go our way could see us 5th from bottom!
Stay positive like Kelly and the team!
WE CAN/WILL DO IT!

Re: Cheltenham Town (A) match thread
True, we're by no means home and dry, but Barrow are the only team out of 24, to have gained 9 points from the last 3 games. 7 points by 2 others including Crawley (Sat. fixture). So for tonight and for the rest of the week we can celebrate and enjoy a win that nobody expected or predicted (although Cheltenham's Manager came close) after weeks of anger and frustration. Now there is more hope and optimism for survival than we had earlier at 7pm, as the light at the end of the tunnel shines that much brighter. I'll take that over a poke in the eye.
