What is it about Barrow (not just this season) that we can get good wins then reserve our worst performances for games against teams we should feel confident about beating? Why were Banks and Devitt, who looked great last Friday, poor today? I thought we had found the formula in midfield last Friday. Thank goodness we have some good subs on the bench.

Would actually be tempted to give Andrew man of the match after that. Think he should start vs Carlisle. Would benefit Quigs to have a rest, he probably massively needs it. That was a really positive 2nd half from Barrow - not football wise, but tactically Rob Kelly made a master stroke with those 3 subs. Not many great performances today, but a point on the road. 100% would have took 4 points over the Easter fixtures

I felt before the game that first goal would be vital. I thought if Colchester got it they would have something to hang onto and would frustrate us, whereas if we had got it I think we would have seen a confident attacking performance and probably a comfortable win.

We will try and finish strong last 20 or run out of steam if we start the way we ended. It’s a tactic that Kelly is sticking with and largely its worked

Worst passing I think I've ever seen in a professional game... Could be a huge point especially if Southend lose tomorrow. Andrew is looking better than just an impact substitute.

Quigley needs about 4 shots on target to score 1 and he should have scored 1st half and Beadling could have had 2 !
Andrews makes a massive difference because he'll win the headers and can actually hold the ball up.
Thought Kay did ok.
Why cant we play like the last 20 min for the whole game ?
Very lucky to get a point but 4 points over Easter is great esp if Southend dont win tomorrow. Really need a good performance vs Carlisle at the weekend because they are starting to find form again.
