Would you mind explaining what I'm looking at here? What does the figure attached to each team represent?

Yes. I sort of understand it and what it says but it’s not clear what factors have been used to calculate “probability”

Multiply each figure by 100 and it's the percentage change of each club being in the bottom 2.

Ah, OK, so it's the probability of that team finishing in the bottom two where '1' would be absolute?

Yeah but without confidence intervals and knowing the alpha, beta and standard deviation it is a pretty useless statistic except to say what we already know....we are in a much better position than Colchester, Grimsby and Southend
And on the 7th day god created football

Following the visit of the noisy 'neighbours' today, we have potentially awkward games until season end. A win on Tuesday would be a real statement.

We need 10 points from 7 games And that assumes that the two teams below us win all of their games, which I doubt they will.

Edited - bottom two clubs Southend and Grimsby.

As Southend and Colchester have to play each other that is one game they can't both win.
