Why? 9 clear of Southend and 12 clear of Grimsby is all that matters. 2 or 3 more points and it's a done deal - may even be a done deal on 46.
Southend have to win 4 out of 5 games to go above us ! not impossible but that's without us getting another point!
Not quite... Southend have get 10 from 15 to go above us. So 3 wins and a draw will do it providing we don't get another point! Not impossible, but not far off impossible based upon the laws of probability.

Get the champagne on ice, this should be one hell of a celebration when you think the turn around in form it's taken at what was at stake. We are the second best side in the league based on the last 10 games, it's taken that to get us near safe... Make's you realise the enormity of the task Kelly was presented with. He should never have to buy a drink in the town again!

Harrogate are having a torrid time of it after a decent first two thirds of the season.

What a turnaround for us though...you couldn’t see that coming two months ago.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

HK's post has cleared a lot of heads there.

Be nice if we could finish above Harrogate.

For us to go down now:

[*] We'd have to lose to Southend
[*] And probably pick up no more than 1 point from our other 5 matches
[*] Southend would need to beat Colchester and get at least 4 points from their other 3 matches (5pts if we get just 1 ourselves)
[*] Colchester would also need to win 2 of their other 4 games (that is, excluding Southend) , and if we picked up a single further point they'd need 7pts from their 4 matches

It's not done yet but that would all require quite a turnaround in our, Southend's and Colchester's form. Technically there's Grimsby too but that seems even more unlikely.

That's sorted then!

One more win will kill even the most pessemistic arse-twitcher.

Unless we win 4 from our last 6 games I think we have left it too late.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Forest Green down the bottom of that form table. Hope we don’t “kick start their season” ;)
