I'd be surprised if we were relegated even if we didn't get another point. Grimsby would have to win 3 and draw 1 of 5 matches and Southend would have to win 3 of 4 matches. I can't see either of them doing that.

They beat Bolton yes but they lost the game before it remember
They can’t afford to lose any more games

I'll be more assured of safety if we can bag 3 points on Tuesday against Port Vale. Colchester play Southend so I'd want a Colchester win and Grimsby host Morcambe but after beating Bolton yesterday i wouldn't like to call that one other than lets hope Morcambe win.

The other two will now run out of games.

I think we need two points from the last four games but the other two have to win all their matches.

I still don’t understand how people think Southend and Grimsby will suddenly win all their remaining games?

We'll probably stay up even if we picked up no more points

Probably. Hmm don't like that word. Lets just get it done with a win as soon as possible. .

We are going to need to win 3 out of 4 remaining games to stay up. 9 points minimum or its back to non league we go.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

Oh absolutely, just saying I think folk are seriously over estimating what we 'need' to stay up.

Orient fan here, who has always looked out for the Bluebirds too.

I’m analysing the fixtures and thinking ‘what if’ too, it’s in your hands, Southend will see the visit to your place as their chance to take it to the wire if results go their way this weekend.

Even I, and Southend are our long standing local rivals, will gain no pleasure in relegating them on Saturday (for I know the feeling), but I will be delighted if we get a result there to guarantee that they can’t catch you!

Let's not forget that Southend and Grimsby will probably be playing for their lives in their remaining games, or at least until staying up is mathematically impossible

But neither was playing for their lives last night?
