Underneath heating would be better or cushions. Would'nt fancy travelling hundreds of miles and spending two hours on cold galvo. Why not plastic like everywhere.
Re: New Seats Going In Holker Street End
You know we will eventually need a 1000 extra seats don't you......... think about it,....just saying.

Although I would love to see the main stand extended either side i think we will need to become an established league club first. A lot of catching up and work to do in a short space of time. Short term, this would provide a compliant solution.

Whether we’re established or not it needs doing within the next couple of years or we won’t have chance to be an established football league club
Re: New Seats Going In Holker Street End
An established league club to extend the main stand. All down to £ and putting 1000 seats in the HSE this way would surely be more cost effective than extending the main stand. For now at least.

Re: New Seats Going In Holker Street End
Each team has until 30th April in the 3rd season to get:-
Membership Criteria:- capacity 5,000 with 2,000 seats. Surely adding a load of seats to the HSE would reduce the capacity by quit a lot, and all the steel work required to house them would be wasted when they were moved (unless it could somehow be re-used in the main stand)
Re: New Seats Going In Holker Street End
I have no idea what you are talking about. I never even read your comment about plastic seats. Think we talking about different things here.

Re: New Seats Going In Holker Street End
No worries, i do talk a lot of nonsense half (most) of the time (much of it without a point) so it could have been another one of those occasions! I was just trying to point out that if this works with seats in the HSE and we will soon need a 1000 more seats to remain FL compliant, then the club may look at the feasibility of just doing the whole HSE out with seats like this. That would help out with the seating requirements for the ground, but as someone else has pointed out, it would probably reduce the overall capacity
Some big decisions needed by the club to satisfy ever increasing and pressing ground compliance requirements.
