if they ever do extend the main stand i hope they bring it round past the corner flags (cross bar end) as this would reduce the wind which so often ruins games ! please no comments like it helps us no decent footballers would like playing in those conditions !

I'd settle for a covered end.

"if they ever do extend the main stand i hope they bring it round past the corner flags (cross bar end)", Yes, I agree with that good idea.
If they don't do that at least it would be good to blank the end of the stand off similar to the craven park one, which wuill help stop the wind howling through.

Last I heard we didn’t have the financial clout to afford extending the Main Stand.

Main stand extensions are just pipe dream , could end up like Harrogate's miss mash they have 3 different stands on one side.
All opinions expressed are my own , not here to cause kick off just enact debate.

Look more closely at the photos!
And ?
You may notice that a structure has been installed which appears to have industrial-type flooring and mounting brackets for 120 seats.

Other than extending the main stand, do you have an alternative solution for an additional thousand seat?

Yes- , based on the start they've made with these away seats, making the HSE all seater would just about do it. Don't write it off from happening.

I wonder what the standing capacity is at the Holker St end id guess at 1500 and I wonder how many seats we can fit in there I'm sure the club will be looking into this

They said on the zoom call for the big stadium development if it happened they would have to out source huge loans, it ll be a seated holker street end unless we get a big cup run.

Do the safe standing rail seats count towards the seating capacity? That would be a simple solution for the HS End

I suppose they'd look at all options before any new stands etc , it might even be cheaper to build a new stadium in the end who knows but they ( the board) would have to do a feasibility study to ascertain the most cost effective options (which might even include major sponsorship !)

Cross bar terrace can’t be opened without a lot of work being done on it.
Needs to have a walk way in front of the terrace that needs to be kept clear and pretty much all that’s at the cross bar end is a walk way with a couple of steps (that would need crash barriers for people to stand there)
You could probably get about 20 people stood there which for what it will cost would be pointless
