Why would it only be aimed at kids? It’s as big as winning the trophy in 1990 when it seemed the whole town came out in numbers to congratulate the team.

As long as people socially distance ,i see no problem, if it`s ok for people to sit in groups of 6 outside a pub then it`s ok for fans to show Rob Kelly and the lads, staff and directors how people feel ! :scarf:

Good luck social distancing on an active main road on pavement thats about 0.5 mtr wide. Also prepare yourselves for a write up in the evening mail you know what they are like.

Similar to the flag money raising would it be possible to raise a few quid so we can sent a couple of cans of beer down to the club for the players and management

Lets not get carried away here. We avoided relegation which is an achievement given the difficult season, but we have not won anything and the board themselves have said it was not the target set. They've done what they set out to do when Kelly came in but talk of flags on the Town Hall and fly pasts banners are absurd
Still searching for the Young Soul Rebels

what the group of players achieved in the circumstances involved ( which was totally out of their control ) was Monumental, the pressure mental / strain must have been immense so sorry jonty I'm getting carried away because it was an unbelievable achievement and bar a few on here including myself i honestly didn't think they'd do it,so to cap it off they Rob Kelly/staff and the board DO deserve all the plaudits they're getting!

Agreed.

The players have done superbly since Kelly came in, but I'll save my celebrations for when we win something rather than narrowly avoid failure. Staying up is an achievement only from where we had to come from post Jolley and Dunn, but in itself it is not.

Have to agree-it would be absurd. A laughing stock in fact.
