Well whoever is interested in the positioning of it better let us know where they’d prefer it to go or there can be no complaints when we put it wherever.
Main stand behind the dug-outs.
HSE.
Or HKs suggestion, the Steelworks end.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Steelworks End for me too. Could it be hung from the 'Sports & Leisure'?

Would the Town Hall fly the flag for a day as a one off good will gesture then install it in Holker St for Saturday’s game.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 9:36 am Well whoever is interested in the positioning of it better let us know where they’d prefer it to go or there can be no complaints when we put it wherever.

This flag isn't massive and we are making too big a deal about it. just put it in the HSE with the rest. No fuss. Thats where the other flags are and this is just another flag of support like the rest.

I think we should put the flag up on the Town Hall Flagpole.Rob Kelly made the impossible possible. There should be a dinner in the Town Hall as a thank you to the team from the council as they missed out on any celebrations for getting into the football league and also for digging deep to come back from 3 defeats when nobody was giving them a hope and finally I think Rob Kelly should be made a Freeman by the council for the way he managed to restructure the team and turn them into a team with self belief.

Think Jolley might have banned himself from football jobs for good on this showing…

Here’s the flag on display. We had to make a wooden frame for it in the end as laying stretched out over the seats made it pretty much disappear...!

Looks good, cracking spot for it too, we will be able to do a comparison between the flag and the real article below

Re: Kellys heroes flag holker street end
Does anybody know where the flag is. Looks like it has been taken down from the HSE

Stick it up somewhere in the fanzone, part of our history like any signed shirts that are going on the walls etc etc
