Re: Barrow v Southend United Match thread
Popular side since '03.
Re: Barrow v Southend United Match thread
Im not sure whether this would have been a different Barrow if we needed to win but but this is a reminder that we need to have a good summer recruitment or it will be same again next season.

Another relegation struggle is more likely than not. That was our standard performance during most of our time in the FL

OK, it’s not great, but they have scored from two defensive lapses and we have made some good chances. Don’t forget, Southend MUST win this and we don’t. Having no pressure on us can go two ways - play with complete freedom or just go easy. We haven’t been awful, just not sharp. Stop getting so pessimistic about season based on this. You wouldn’t think Southend are playing to retain their 100+ year league status.

Devitt just isn’t the player he was & id be amazed if we don’t release him, Not sure if he’s contracted for next season or not, Either way I’d get rid, Same for Kay for me, We can’t wait forever for him to mature.MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 3:45 pm Devitt not looking good.
Edit: OK, maybe the injury's not so bad.
If we lose this both Relegated clubs took maximum points off us, Got to be a mentality thing imho.

Here we go again saying we are down before a ball is kicked
Re: Barrow v Southend United Match thread
How can you stop a game when the ball has just been passed into the box?!!
Re: Barrow v Southend United Match thread
Dixon has earned us plenty of points during the season with his fine goalkeeping, so I for one will forgive him the the point lost today due to his unfortunate error.

As it stands Morecambe could overtake Bolton next week for the third promotion place.
