I can’t see Burns coming back. He didn’t seem happy at Barrow for whatever reason.

Shame big andrews gone was a solid target man and made an impact in his short time at the club. Quite surprised by Burns , Sea and James do we have time to allow players to develop. I think with how poor we where we need immediate quick fixes.

Burns and James signed 2 year deals so it's not that much of a surprise

If we keep dixon and Barry we've got a decent squad there going into the new season.

Donohue our worst-ever signing? Presumably on big wages, and not sure I've ever seen a Barrow player play quite as badly as that game against Morecambe.

I would have like Josh Kay to stay. Yes, he's a bit hot-headed and not the most consistent...but I liked what he could bring to the team as an impact player.

It's no better than last season's at the moment which was far from decent as the league position proves!
If, we lose Dixon and Barry, which would not be a surprise, then it will be worse than last season.
Whether it's a decent squad or not will depend on how many good players are signed.

The table doesn't lie, we know that, but any manager coming in must surely be happy with what we already have on the books, I think that is the point being made.

Shipped out the dross and the deadwood and left with a core of players to add to and shape.
