Really solid appointment - realistically, not sure we could’ve gotten much better? Experienced at this level, good knowledge of the league, will have his contacts, and has had his fair share of trips to Barrow so I’m sure he knows what to expect from us, to an extent.

I know it's only an interview but he tells it as it us ( he even mentions about being abused by barrow fans

This is worth reading - reveiw of his time at FG. Interesting to note that, like us, FG only just survived their first year in L2, so he has experience of building to improve.

And if Jamille Matt hadn't been injured this season, there's a very good chance he'd have taken Forest Green up. Their fans generally seem a little bitter, probably because they know their new guy is a downgrade.
