Good luck and Welcome Mark Cooper and Richard Dryden, now let’s crack on and build a team worthy of this league. Hope Mark Cooper is given the time and patience required by the board to continue in shaping our club going forward. We need to stabilise and grow steadily to sustain our league status long term! :scarf: :scarf:

Come on, own up. Who gobbed on him? Was it Pedro? Perth?

Really solid appointment - realistically, not sure we could’ve gotten much better? Experienced at this level, good knowledge of the league, will have his contacts, and has had his fair share of trips to Barrow so I’m sure he knows what to expect from us, to an extent.

Onwards.

Agreed. This feels like a grown up appointment made by a proper EFL club.

I know it's only an interview but he tells it as it us ( he even mentions about being abused by barrow fans 🤣) This is a top appointment, the board have done their part now it's over to us !

Great appointment on paper, higher profile than what I was expecting to be honest. Onwards and upwards.
Popular side since '03.

This is worth reading - reveiw of his time at FG. Interesting to note that, like us, FG only just survived their first year in L2, so he has experience of building to improve.

And if Jamille Matt hadn't been injured this season, there's a very good chance he'd have taken Forest Green up. Their fans generally seem a little bitter, probably because they know their new guy is a downgrade.
