The setup still works the same but as their figures don’t go through iFollow they can’t get accurate figures

The club has released iFollow viewing figures for all matches. Whilst the headline figure is an average 1,840 watched our games that figure is heavily bolstered by the support of Bolton, Bradford and Port Vale. I'm actually surprised at how few 'on the day' subscribers we had throughout the season, generally speaking around the 230/250 mark for home games (the lowest being 163 for one of the better games - Cheltenham).
Away games attracted higher 'on the day' figures - because season ticket holders had to pay - regularly exceeding the 500 threshold for the club to receive additional cash:

The reason it was low was that people were watching games through illegal streaming devices loads at work were I wasn't happy but that's today's mentality!

Having used iFollow to follow Barrow in all their away games this season I hope it continues next season even if crowds are back,what’s not to like with excellent commentary from Adam ,I wouldn’t want to go to Exeter away but am happy to pay a tenner to watch the bluebirds in these times the less people moving around the country the better and it will bring in much needed revenue for clubs like ourselves so it makes sense as it won’t affect gate attendance that much and give an important revenue stream

If you go into barrow web page ans select ifollow from index you account name should appear bottom left of page
When account open you payment details will appear and should be able to cancel delete payment details

I agree that IFollow has provided a great service whilst the crowds have not been in the grounds, but I think that clubs would rather have money though the gates, and the atmosphere generated by supporters being in the ground to watch.

I would also think that the club would also get home crowds in excess of the 1800 or so quoted for iFollow.

All you get extra for £4:49 is audio commentary on the game. All interviews (at least they have been so far) are available with the free basic pass. I really don’t see what you get for your £4:49 during the close season.

If I remember correctly, in a 'normal' season you are able to watch any game on iFollow except those that kick-off 3:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Something like that, anyway.
