Requesting a definitive answer isn't the same as receiving one and I am not sure that either the BBC or BAFC would want to be driven by Internet rumours on a possible story such as this.SKIPPER wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 1:18 pm Surely its possible for someone like RC to phone Paul Hornby or someone in Scotland to get a definitive answer. After all ,though not set in stone, the involvement of the Trust in the takeover scenario was supposed to end the 'none of your business' attitude which has plagued the club for decades. There are only two possible answers apart from injury/illness.
Scott is in Scotland with the rest of the squad and all this is rubbish or
Scott is not in Scotland due to ongoing developments which will become clearer in the near future'

Re: HoB v Barrow
That`s the downside putting players on 2/3 year contracts, at this level 1 year with 1 year option should be enough we will be paying Jones a full contract to next June hopefully Burns can get fully fit for the season.

Re: HoB v Barrow
if like van der Nipper says he's unlikely to play again, the club will get an insurance payment as with Lewis Hardcastle.behind the goals wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 6:45 pm That`s the downside putting players on 2/3 year contracts, at this level 1 year with 1 year option should be enough we will be paying Jones a full contract to next June hopefully Burns can get fully fit for the season.

Re: HoB v Barrow
someone has posted on Red Passion that Quigley is having a medical tomorrow - if true we should find out by Friday at the latest.

Re: HoB v Barrow
'signed' and then having a medical tomorrow. Shouldn't it be the other way round. I know its wishful thinking but personally I would love this to turn out to be a complete rumour. Wrexham fans getting into a complete lather over signing a player for £150k (?) they could have had for nothing a few years back. Imagine the furore there would have been if they hadn't got the Hollywood moneypit to fall back on.
Re: HoB v Barrow
I don't usually pay much heed to rumours, but regarding Wrexham, it would be a strange move. Surely Quigley should be looking to move up in his career, not drop down to the National league?

Yep, same stunt Rooney pulled last season.

Re: HoB v Barrow
I heard that Quigley's absence is due to him coming into contact with someone with COVID, meaning he has to self-isolate for 10 days.
That would explain his no show at HOB & training in Scotland.
