Double jab

Post by Salthouse Bridge » Sun Jul 25, 2021 12:31 am

the government may bring in a system that all 92 league clubs will have to check that spectators have proof of being double vaccinated before being allowed entry any thoughts on this ?

Anything that keeps fans safe, the turnstiles open, and brings about a swift end to this turmoil... Let's do it.

Already got my proof of vaccination letter from the NHS - I assumed this would be happening.
Easy to apply for and took 3 days to arrive.

You're up early. How about coming to the ground and do some painting?
Anyone else who's up welcome too. 🙂

Good idea. I laughed when a woman from the anti vaccine campaign who lived in Brighton had been visited by the Met at her home.
She videoed the police when they warned her if she was spotted organising in London they would arrest her.
The Police offered to discuss the matter at a police station where she would have been arrested possibly.
She declined and said she had three children and her partner did not live with her for obvious reasons

So she was quite happy to have some pri**s but not all.
It's our duty to protect each other but then she was probably against using protection in any situation.

Download the NHS App - NOT the NHS Covid app. Once you've put in your NI number you will see your vaccination record.
It also has your medicines and tablets history so you can order a prescription with the app or arrange to have medicines delivered to a pharmacy of your choice.

I was surprised yesterday in the fan zone that no one was wearing a mask. I think it safest for everyone to be vaccinated before entry is allowed. You are doing it for others as well as yourself. Easy for season ticket holders to let the club know/have proof of required treatment. I’m all in favour of it being an essential prior to admission.

They are taking about it for sporting events with more than 20k, it wont happen the government are talking about it encourage people to get vaccinated

If being vaccinated stops you from getting seriously ill which in most cases it does as long you feel safe then go just like when you cross the road or get into a car you take a calculated risk

I doubt the club could cope with having to check vaccination status and checking tickets too .. it would be a shambles

See where you`re coming from but it`s the individual`s choice , also the club are not legally entitled to ask, as it`s now not an offence not to wear one (only guidelines).

In Scotland there's not enough coal in the computer to have a Scottish NHS app that shows vaccination status. They're working on one for 'foreign travel' which could include England, I suppose :D . At the moment, you have to apply for a letter. I'd better get on it - just in case - because I want to be at that Hartlepool game.
Don't let the old man in.

You won’t have to produce a letter for the Hartlepool game.
Most masks are useless as the virus droplets are smaller then the holes in the mask material. They’re just a comfort blanket for people who’ve been scared to death by the government.Theres quite a few on here by the sounds of it.
