IIRC this has been mentioned some time ago and the segregation fence is so that it can easily be moved. From what I can recall though extra capacity for away fans would only be given if the club were unlikely to fill the rest of the ground with home fans. FA Cup rules are away team is supposed to get 15% of ground capacity roughly 750 for Holker street so might not have any option but to increase the away end capacity by another 100 if a large following of away fans are expected.
I’m not saying it can’t be done but it wouldn’t be easy and not something that can be done quickly.
Even if we paid full whack, it would pay for itself easily.
In an ideal world we don’t want away fans in the Holker end nor do we want to be outnumbered at home etc but it is what it is & we could be turning our noses up at free money several times per season which could fund this elusive 20 goal striker or destructive midfielder we all want
