Give over. Jumped for a ball and was beneath the defender when he won the header. Hardly Kay doing what he does best. This ref is yellow card happy

8 yellows given in a opener..... Surely got to be a record for the highest amount given on a opening game?

According to BBC football (which I know isn't always reliable), the foul count is 11 by Barrow and 17 by Stevenage. Must be a lot more than that. From what I hear on commentary it sounds as if 5 cards for us and only 3 for Stevenage is a bit unfair.

Sounds as if the ref is reacting to crowd noise with the cards!

Not at all - they're all totally justified (didn't see Kay's).

Nah, I'm just a positive fan. I don't make dumb comments just to get my kicks. You're over 50 years old man...grow up

[SwearFilter], didn't realise I was that old. No, you kick off any time someone mentions him.

I was just referring to the fact that Kay picked up another yellow, like he did on so many occasions last season - no need to get your knickers in a twist.

18 months since wasting money

Wasted it today.

Bloody awful. Easy saying waiting for a forward, we've known quigls leaving for weeks.

The stevenage keeper never made a save.

Not going down but that was shite

Well that seemingly went as I thought it would. Concede a sloppy goal, don't have enough going forward to make amends. Disappointing.

What an absolute snooze fest that was. Wouldn’t have scored if we’d have played till Tuesday. Nowt going forwards. All good building from the back but as soon as we concede we know 99% of the time it’s a lost game. Poor

Great to be back eh ffs
