Wasted it today.

Bloody awful. Easy saying waiting for a forward, we've known quigls leaving for weeks.

The stevenage keeper never made a save.

Not going down but that was shite
Wrong, he saved the Kay attempt to curl it into the corner in the first half. Platt got the yellow so Arthur came on as I guess it’s risky having a CB on a yellow for a whole half, Arthur maybe to blame for the first goal, but thought he was solid for the rest of the game
Platt never went off because of the yellow
Platt pulled up at half time with a recurrence of the back injury he picked up v Southport last week

Platt came off with a reoccurance of the back problem that forced him off v Southport

Have a day off. 45 games to go, would rather have these problems now than in March.
we did have the same problems at beginning of last season, we looked OK under Dunn but had nothing, (apart from Quigs) to score goals,
Dunn was a clueless manager. I have more faith that Cooper has the ability to solve these problems. Let's be honest, last season's squad was pretty poor but once we had someone with an idea in charge we picked up results that probably would have had us lower mid table over the course of a full season. A consolidating position everyone would be happy with come May.

Cooper seemed to think we created openings but players didn't make the most of them. Regarding Quigley, he scored 15 goals last season (not sure if they were all league goals) and a few of those were penalties, so not exactly an 'ace' goalscorer. Yes, he was an important player and was a handful for defences and so possibly created chances for others. Yes, also some of his goals were vital ones that won games.

We scored 53 goals in the league, so some other players must have weighed in with the other 38.

A useful player, I wish we still had him, but let's not blame all our goalscoring problems (after 1/46th of the season) on his absence.

Not as dreadful as some seem to be saying for me today. It wasn't a great game on any level but I'm yet to see a L2 game that is. Not a lot in it, Stevenage not massively better than us but we switched off at the start of the second half and they scored.

Room for improvement certainly, but not disastrous.

Cooper said he could have been on the bench today but it would have been a risk. Possibly Tuesday but definitely next week is what he said.

Let's not get carried away. A one goal defeat away from home is hardly cause for doom and gloom. There are key players yet to come in . I'd be more worried if we'd been outclassed .

Watched the game, thought we did well. Controlled first half, goal changed game.Don’t think we would score if we played all night. A target man would change that whole attacking threat, and we would be a good side. Positive. And Nige why you calling out the board regarding a striker, do you want them to go out and get one, Cooper has said many times he’s waiting for the right one , try listening.
