If this has happened then it needs sorting but I will not cheer for a marxist symbol or give any apology, but I do support Respect and Kick it out.

I would suggest the normal and best approach is to undertake a swift investigation before jumping to any conclusions either way.

Until the claim is investigated there is no value in any other action.

Stewards are closer to the fans than the goaly. Why didn’t the stewards hear it? if they had, then the perpetrator/s would have been pointed out and arrested, which, as far as I know, didn’t happen. At this moment it’s he said/she said. If it’s been a mistake then an apology should be issued, which won’t happen.

Good to hear The voice of reason, If someone in the crowd can come on this forum and tell us all what has been said we should leave it till an investigation, we are now being accused of throwing bottles of pee over the barrier onto Hartlepool fans.

When is the goalkeeper going to come out and said what he heard, I don't known if he's heard a few chants and misheard them, We won't know till he comes out and actually says what got said all hear say and everyone jumping all over it. I'm sure if someone said something they would of got pulled out by the fans or the stewards would of heard it and seen the direction it came from. The keeper at half time shouted something to the kids at the front barrier and give them the middle finger when collecting his water bottle or whatever it was hope another statement is made soon and it's followed up

Don't we have cameras in the HSE now? Get them caught, banned and handed to the police.
This has happened before and as usual everyone just sticks their heads in the sand.

Them? Was there more then one culprit? It would seem most people at the HS end didn’t hear anything. Strange how the stewards never did.
One poster on here says his son heard someone shout something. If that’s true he should contact the club.

BBC sport app has it as a story now. Inevitable danger of Barrow being branded a particular type of club. Having heard the applause when the players took the knee, it’s clear to me that is absolutely not so. Needs very careful handling.

This is absolute madness, there was no racist abuse, the keeper, who looked a wind up merchant with his antics, obviously misheard the zigger chant. It’s ridiculous, nobody else heard it. We are not a racist club and we all know it.
Wondered when someone would start accusing the keeper of making it up. That's always the second stage of denial, after they're accused of mishearing a chant.

Third stage: someone in a crowd of 2400+ categorically states "there was no racist abuse".

The same thing happened the last time a goalkeeper was racially abused at a game ( at the steelworks end I think) and the time before that, the lad from Burnley Ginnelly, and the time before that….

It's a recycled allegation that has been made against black rights activists since Martin Luther King in the 60s. Just as the Facebook groups are recycling the same NF bullshit from the 80s. Some people will buy into it. Some people will make money selling it. Sad state of affairs for sad little [SwearFilter].
