Listening to BAFC on the radio.

Can anyone help me please?

I was wanting a radio for the house so as I can listen to the away games, can I pick up radio Cumbria on any of the following stations: DAN/DAB+ and FM wavelengths.

Help appreciated.

I don't think so, but I listen on channel 721 on Freeview TV.

Assuming you're in the general Cumbria area I think the only way you can get commentary on radio is AM frequency (Carlisle are on FM). I think Adam said DAB is due at the end of the year when it will be possible to split the transmission and put us on DAB around Furness. Alternatively, either the Freeview option as mentioned above or subscribe to iFollow (which I have to do because none of those options are open to me

)

DAB signal is crap around Barrow no point in buying a digital radio, I have been stung twice.

In the car signal drops around Town center area at home it was hit and miss. Just listen online now like I said buying a DAB radio is a waste of money.

I have a couple of Roberts DAB radios and they are great. Clarity and signal no problem,. Well worth the money IMO

Agree - signal drops out at various places in town but is better as you go down the 590, so perhaps the reception in the Barrow will improve when BBCRC come onstream with DAB later this year. Will it mean a new transmitter?
