Re: Carlisle (A)
It seems daft from Carlisle; they’d be better sticking them all on sale now

Agreed. I can't see the point of phasing it unless it is to let our end manage it rather than have a huge free for all that would overwhelm those working on the front line.

Re: Carlisle (A)
Just giving clubs so many away tickets is what clubs that have a large away end tends to do these days. Bradford did the same and I think Port vale did the same this weekend. IIRC Carlisle can accommodate over 1800 in the away end all seated. They do have terracing behind the goals that they can open up if needed taking the away capacity to about 3000.HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 1:33 pm It seems daft from Carlisle; they’d be better sticking them all on sale now

I'm not sure if the open standing end - I presume you mean behind the goal - is currently available for away fans.Richard Ingham wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 1:31 pmNo, you wait until the extra tickets (in the open standing end) become available from our club.
I always watch EFL highlights on Quest and I've never seen anyone stood on the terracing behind that goal.

The last time it was used was 2015/16 season when they hosted Everton in the FA Cup.

That's us all in the seats on the side, then, as at Bradford.

Re: Carlisle (A)
798 reserved seating tickets, we may take all of them and perhaps more ??

Re: Carlisle (A)
So first we get told the KO time is being brought forward, and now Carlisle are telling us that no tickets will be available to buy on the day, yet I rang them last week and they told me tickets would be on sale on the day and from the ground…!
[SwearFilter] joke this.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: Carlisle (A)
No doubt the Police have got involved AGAIN and as well as getting the KO moved they have asked no tickets be sold on match day to away fans even though Carlisle have a specific ticket office for away fans to purchase tickets on the day. Tranmere took around 900 to Brunton Park yesterday and they were advised tickets available on the day. It is becoming farcical.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 4:39 pm So first we get told the KO time is being brought forward, and now Carlisle are telling us that no tickets will be available to buy on the day, yet I rang them last week and they told me tickets would be on sale on the day and from the ground…!

Re: Carlisle (A)
Can't the club just ask Carlisle for the full away allocation upfront so you are able to purchase more than one ticket. As a season ticket holder I'm guaranteed a ticket but I want to take my daughter and make a day of it, match, meal & shopping. I'm in a dilemma now do I not use the guaranteed ticket via my season ticket and wait till they go on open sale in the hope I can purchase two tickets, FFS the ground is 18000 capacity and there will be nowhere near that.
Re: Carlisle (A)
As a season ticket holder who can only buy one ticket how can I buy 2 extra tickets for my kids and be sure we're sat together?

Re: Carlisle (A)
if like most other away games, when you buy a ticket on our Barrow Afc web page for an all seated stadium.
The ticket you are given, does not have a seat number. so you can sit in which ever seat you wish. (within the allocated block).
so buy yours this week, then buy the kids when they come on sale.... show up on the day, sit where you want.
