FA Cup 1st Round - Banbury United (A) Thread
Re: FA Cup 1st Round - Banbury United (A) Thread
Tbf, they are offering a bit on the counter. Pacey boys up top. Jones scares me. So they've half a chance there. Bloody love the FA Cup

We need a second goal in this as Banbury sound dangerous, if it stays at 0-1 they will be rampant in the last 10 mins.

No cause for concern. Today is the chance for Zanzala to shine. There is no shine ATM.

Re: FA Cup 1st Round - Banbury United (A) Thread
I thought this could be a tough match but it shouldn't be! Banbury are poor and can't put in a forward pass worthy of the name. If we don't win this match by 3 or 4 we should be shot. However, after completely outclassing them for about half an hour we've stopped going forward at all and letting them have too much possession. Luckily, they haven't a clue what to do with it but that doesn't mean a long throw, a free kick or a corner won't drop for them in the penalty area. We desperately need a striker in the transfer window as Zanzala has become a waste of space.

I think if you listen to the Radio Cumbria commentary you’ll get a different perspectiveprague bluebird wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 6:05 pm We need a second goal in this as Banbury sound dangerous, if it stays at 0-1 they will be rampant in the last 10 mins.

Ian Wright and Grant Holt praising Zanzala. Russell and Nick say he's been shite. Who's right?
Re: FA Cup 1st Round - Banbury United (A) Thread
My impression is that there have been afew occasions when our tackles have been a bit helf hearted and also a few occasions when we have been careless with the ball - eg close passes a fraction short. If I was Cooper, I would say they have done ok but need to sharpen up a bit.

Was like men against boys for 35 mins.
We need a quick second goal to finish them off. I’d like to see Kay get some minutes.
