Barrow showed the difference in standard between both leagues, quick, Sharpe and your No 10 was not that great zanadoo or something like that.

The second goal huge defensive error gifted the game to Barrow after Banbury started the second half better.

Majority of the game Barrow were quickest to the second ball, where as we are in our league.

The penalty I'm not sure about but was at the other end, so when I watch the replay if it is then fair play.

I have seen my mates team play in league 2, a load of old Cobblers, but Barrow seemed to play at a better standard than some of the games I have seen in the past at your standard.

Poor away following for a league two side even if on TV.

Biggest problem for Barrow fans getting to the game if they didn't go by coach was timing of the game at 5.15 that could account for lower away take up & of course the TV. Generally not we have a decent support for away games particularly against the northern teams. Got to admit though was slightly disappointed with the Walsall turnout which was 224 as opposed to the previous weeks away attendance at Port Vale (about a 35 mile difference between grounds) of 405. Of course our "local" derby against Carlisle we will be taking around 1500. Be interesting our away support at FGR on a Tuesday night later this month followed by Sutton on the Saturday. If we get Morecambe away in the next round that is a local derby for us think quite a lot will go to that game.

I am fully aware of the timing of the game because of being on the TV, only 224 at Walsall it was clear that you would struggle to sell the full allocation especially with the distance to travel to get to Banbury.

To give you some further context we broke the away attendance record at Middlesboro in this competition a few years back, I think it was about 7k and I don't know if it still stands. I thought your guys played some really good stuff and bossed it for a bit in a very competitive game.

Actually that is the most organised defensive display by Barrow I have seen for a while we have a habit of throwing leads away which the manager is trying to eradicate.Thought that you played well last 15 mins first half but second goal knocked stuffing out of you a bit.I visited Your ground some years ago you have a nice set up.We normally have more travel support but we had a few distant games lately so I think because on tv and we have an important Derby up the road next Saturday which I think 1500 going to that people are budgeting their money .Wish you all the best in your league and the trophy comp.

Feel a bit sorry for Banbury Football club they will get find for the scum that turn up to 'support' them ,throwing things on the pitch at our goalkeeper and at us in the second half. We met decent Banbury fans earlier on but their club will not be happy with the half wits antics. The cretins were more concerned singing the pride they have of a dead pedo being one of their own and we would not make the station than backing the club. Banbury officials were excellent from the programme sellers to the turnstile people and also the police.

I was getting a bit nervous until the second goal went in. We looked a bit shaky towards the end of the first half and start of the second, though I suppose it was inevitable that Banbury would have a purple patch at some point. For most of the match though we were in control, and our players' attitude to the game was spot on, very professional.

A very professional and clinical display but for several heart-stopping moments. Farmans' brain-fart waiting for the ball to come to him instead of just wellying it into row Z. Zanzalas penalty area tackle which many referees would have instantly punished (well done Ms welch)-Zanzala and gordon should be fined for going within 20 yards of our goal as 75% of their 'tackles' result in dangerous free kicks-stick to what you are good at.Zanzalas goal and the ITV confusion. Everything seemed to stop for a moment and I was waiting for a linos flag wiping the goal out. Conor Browns insistance on 'wrestling' in the box on set-pieces. if a Banbury player had the brains to drop to the ground we could have been in trouble. He wouldn't get away with it in L2.Finally a thought on Banbury striker Chris Wreh. Anyone else think he has the aptitude for the full-time game.In a pre-match interview he said its his aim and he will definitely benefit surrounded by better players and greater fitness.
