You can listen on iFollow to Adam's commentary via smartphone, laptop, PC etc., etc. but I think that's your lot. That, of course, requires either an annual or per game subscription.

In an ideal world you’d still get us online - sadly EFL rule the roost on that and force online coverage behind paywalls

Tomorrows game however will be available on BBC Sounds as it’s an FA competition not EFL

Up until last season Carlisle were always on Freeview
More people now a days are listening to DAB over actual FM so decision was made based on giving supporters the chance to listen to a clearer audio.

Carlisle fans complain that we are all barrow
Barrow fans complain that we are all Carlisle

No matter what decision we made on the matter it would have been the wrong one

The vast majority have access to FM and freeview.
Few have access to DAB+ and medium wave is poor quality.
I think this is clearly the wrong decision, and find it difficult to see how it can be justified.
I doubt Carlisle supporters are complaining.

What will happen if Carlisle get relegated and Barrow stay in the EFL next season.Surely then Barrow will have to go on Freeview and FM as they will then be the Premier club in Cumbria,maybe even move the studio to Barrow.

It isn't a sports station. In saying that we are are lucky that our location grants us the coverage we get. Imagine Leyton Orient for example, and all the teams they will be playing second fiddle to.

What an inane comment.
What advantage would there be for us if that happened?. None whatsoever.
I for one like the idea of two league sides in a county as big and as sparse as Cumbria. We get far better coverage than we could ever dream of if we relied on radio Lancashire.
On the way back from the Carlisle game I got talking to a couple of Blokes from Penrith who said they go to Brunton Park one week and Holker Street the next. I have friends in Kendal who repeat that.
I want to see both clubs go up, not down.
