COVID passports
There does not seem to be any official information coming from the club as to whether we are expected to show one of these COVID passports to enter the game tomorrow. Does anyone know the official line on this?

Re: COVID passports
If we cap the capacity at 4K there will be no issue. But as things stand theoretically more than that could show up and then the club will be legally bound to check the passports. As I see it the club need to either a) cap the capacity at 4K, or b) check the passports. Option a sounds much more preferable
Re: COVID passports
The cap of 4,000 would apply only to standing capacity according to the literal wording of the requirements. Seated capacity separate. Of course these rules are usually ambiguous, so who knows what they really mean?

Re: COVID passports
strictly speaking do all the different areas that have different accesses count as separate? ie main stand is 1 area, home standing another and away fans a 3rd? IF that is the case it may be how Northampton are not requiring Barrow fans to have Covid passports on Saturday.

Re: COVID passports
It's over 10,000 for an allocated seat venue. Sixfields is 7,798 so isn't under the restrictions.chipmunx wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 11:26 am strictly speaking do all the different areas that have different accesses count as separate? ie main stand is 1 area, home standing another and away fans a 3rd? Definitely won't be over 4000, just picked my ticket up and receptionist said they've only sold 1700.

Re: COVID passports
I am sure by tomorrow night there will be a healthy crowd, people will look at the weather etc - it might have helped if they could have been sold on Saturday its such a trek backwards and forwards to the club especially if tickers are going to be available on the day.ossickbluebird wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 12:40 pm Definitely won't be over 4000, just picked my ticket up and receptionist said they've only sold 1700.
we have 1200 seats so the standing capacity is only less over 4k so no need for any knickers to be twisted

Re: COVID passports
Mask wearing transiting around the ground is a small burden to bear, far better than not being allowed in at all. Here’s hoping that’s as far as it goes this winter.
Re: COVID passports
Only to wear them inside so presume that’s in the buildings. Says advise to wear them around the ground

Re: COVID passports
Fans can enter many stadiums without a Covid Passport. A Negative lateral flow test will also enable admission.

And many on here who were complaining prior to the Carlisle fixture will be pleased with one of Barnsley's matchday rulings:

Without pass is ok.
Re: COVID passports
Will the club allow you to buy your seats with others then? If not I can’t see it workingSea Dog Sam wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 2:09 pm Fans can enter many stadiums without a Covid Passport. A Negative lateral flow test will also enable admission.
