Nice to see the police arresting away fans for a change, but not clever herding them down the same side of the street as the Barrow fans were coming out, did the same at Carlisle took Barrow fans through the town centre on the way back to the station when there was better ways back. Can't work out that there was nearly 600 away fans and we had about 3 police there unless I'm wrong!

Could not believe that meself. If the police had ushered these Swindon fans on to the other side of the road nothing would've happened. Who's in charge of crowd control? Shambolic policing and questions need to be asked by the relevant bodies. Chances of this being repeated are about 99%.

Would be clever stuff getting to the station at Carlisle from Brunton Park on foot without going through the town centre.

Would be clever stuff getting to the station at Carlisle from Brunton Park on foot without going through the town centre.

Check your map along Botchergate then up Tait Street takes 20mins cuts out town centre.

No need to check a map; I have lived there since 1972.

Botchergate is very much part of the town centre. The Warwick Road route is marginally shorter; Tait Street and Botchergate are the other two sides of a triangle.

Sadly, unless we have a full “police operation” (which comes at a great expense to the club) we don’t have the powers to do so. In fairness until that point yesterday the 2 sets of supporters interacted together brilliantly

Why don't you just concentrate on following the team you seem to always have an oppinion on what others are doing. Your not a true fan Anne
