Sure they will be giving it all but its just not happening. We are in a battle to stay up and I’m not sure if we have the firepower to get out of it.
We are 7 points clear of the bottom 2 still, we will stop up I have the confidence we have some good players. Mansfield will be in league 1 next year and we will still be league 2.

Don't think they even got a touch, too busy passing sideways and backwards, haven't been able to get into it yet.
Ironic in a way. We have been defending quite well, we get two strikers as the "missing pieces in the jigsaw", then the defence goes AWOL.
Fair comment Jim but attack is the best form of defence, so what happened to the strikers? Did they not turn up?

At 2-1 down in the second half we were pressing well. Hutton was then guilty of letting Rhys Oates go on a run that resulted in Ollie Banks taking him down and taking a yellow card. Banks let Hutton know what he thought .From the resulting free kick Mansfield got the third.

I got the impression from commentary that they didn't get much service or quality ball (much like Zanzala perhaps ;) )

Shocking. Why start Gotts after 3 weeks out or so. He was awful. He's not the only one. Cooper's head should be on the chopping block here. 2 wins in 15 league games with this squad and wage budget is nothing short of shocking. This free flowing attacking football he's promised has fallen away huh. Tippy tap $hit where we pass it slower than treacle without missing a man.

F*ck off Cooper you blame shifting tw@

Will Harris didn't get a sniff. He looked rusty though.

3 crosses and 3 goals ! Awful defending at set plays

No shots on target 2nd half with all our attackers on the pitch. Not a great day !

Get out! I hope you're being ironic!

Mansfield will be a L1 side next year and we'll be pushing for mid-table in this league.

In Cooper I trust!

I said when the new boys arrived, I hope they enjoy long balls being punted up to them and being isolated in amongst 6ft 3 + defenders.

The fluff Cooper spouts. Clearly speaks a good game but is coming up short BIG TIME.

Sideways and backwards even playing against 10 men , slow , ponderous and predictable, 3 new players so far haven't improved the team, where do we go from here? , was hoping for so much more this season.

Manager on BBC RC:
Lack of desire in our penalty area. Matt Platt coming in for some stinging criticism. Difference was centre backs who wanted to head the ball against those that didn't.
He is furious! Embarrassed. Let the fans down. Banks signed contract thinking what could be, after that must be wondering what he's done.
Don't let the old man in.

Hate to hear the booing at full time.
If you don’t think that they put a shift in then fair enough - but that’s clearly not the case. They are all working their socks off.
Just don’t clap if you’re not happy but don’t boo your own side.
On the playing front I think we miss Ellis at the back for his organisation and defending in the air. He’s clearly short of pace now which is why he’s not playing but what we’ve gained in pace at the back we’ve lost in solidity.
As far as going forward we are great on the counter but when teams sit in we really can’t break them down and end up passing the ball sideways in front of them rather than getting in behind them. Mansfield look a good side and them going down to 10 did us no favours especially as they had the lead already.

Well 3 absolutely pathetic goals ,we seem to have no communication back there apart from farman's hysteronics!
our build up is so slow young Harris did well but had no support.
why do our wide players rarely take anyone on,?
everyone is scared to try to carry the ball forward it's so boring going from side to side, we played right into their hands apart from having no decent forwards, we lack physicality we were bullied all over the park and at the end we lost our shape completely.
Cooper shouldn't have kept 3 central defenders on for the second half that was a bad decision, we're just not direct enough but we can't keep relying on Oldham and Scu**horpe not winning but our home form is shocking and whilst I don't condone booing I can understand fans frustration this just isn't good enough!
