The away bit could do with improvements but I like the holker end now, there’s stanchions at many grounds it’s not the end of the world.

Plenty of the ground can be improved and from what I can see the club are trying bit by bit.

Is the bluebird club building now just a garage? How much would it cost? Wonder if it would be worth it

About sums it up, a few stanchions that aren’t that much of a problem to anyone really. Without the price rocketing, that’s how it had to be. If you look at it, the whole structure is supported off the stanchions, absolutely nothing is attached to the back wall.

Regarding the bluebird club/garage, I know when PC looked into buying it the price suddenly shot through the roof.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Yeah shame about not owning the old bluebird club always feel the crossbar is in the wrong place.

Wasn’t the ‘Cross Bar’ built as an independent squash club and a separate enterprise from AFC? Something else we have had to adapt to suit our resources. We’ve never had it so good!
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Never criticise Holker St again. This is a premiership ground (Molyneux) today where plastic macs have been issued to supporters for protection :) :
