On the basis of having the best tan he was the outstanding candidate. We need Brown to hopefully stop us ending up covered in the stuff! Here’s hoping that we don’t end up down the pan🙏

I see the teams at the bottom of L2 are continuing this trend of appointing ex-Swindon managers.

Let's give the bloke a chance.
Wasn't my 1st choice but a wealth of experience, and to use Southend as an example is a bit lame as they were cooked when he took over.

We have much better players than southend did at the end of last season the club have made the choice, its only 9 games and some experience, we just need to get behind him

Yes for last 6 games he won 2 and drew the rest

Not overjoyed but my optimism says can he make us any worse?
Also yeah Southend went down but he got results out of them.

Nige, who is not usually one for boundless optimism ;),hits nail on head. How many experienced managers are available to step in on an interim contract. It’s only a temporary appointment.
