It’s great to see. It’s a shame Covid restricted previous managers from doing similar during both this season and last.
What restrictions we had this season?
Plenty up until Feb 24th. Games were being called off all over at Xmas time due to covid. The EFL offered the following guidance in December https://www.efl.com/news/2021/december/ ... -prepared/

The restriction this season would’ve been Cooper, I doubt very much he’d have “found the time” to make himself available for this sort of thing.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

I haven’t seen or read anything although I wouldn’t be surprised if an NDA was part of the mutual consent agreement agreed by both parties

Hi Barrow AFC Fans,
Southend United Fan here and now new Barrow fan from a distance.
I wish Phil Brown every success with your Team.
He is a very nice man, and can motivate Players.
We had a number of good years with Phil Brown including Promotion in Play-off Final at Wembly 2015.
As some on here have mentioneed we were relegated from Div 2 wity Phil at the Helm.
But No fault of his. he did not get enough games to change a losing side.
In the National league this season , we got off to a dire start and Phil was blamed for bringing in the wrong type of Player for that league.
If you ask him now, on reflection, he would agree.
All this is Good News for you Guys as He should not make the same mistake.
Looking Forward to following you Guys.
Come On You Barrow! :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Personally I think this is absolute drivel. It’s completely at the wrong time. OK if he’d kept us up, (but even then questionable) but now I think it’s totally out of place - smacks of a puerile attempt to ingratiate himself to the community when his only current remit is to keep BAFC in the league. Almost sickening, as he’s no understanding of the people and the area after the 5 minutes he’s been in charge. Transparently insincere in my opinion.

"no understanding of the people and the area after the 5 minutes he’s been in charge".

IMO, Absolutly disgusting, sickening comment from someone who frequents the church of the poison mind, towards a bloke showing kindness to people in our community.

Delivering Mother's Day flowers in May might have seemed a bit odd, it always falls 2 weeks before Easter Sunday. And, let's face it, the club will have asked him to do it so the 'insincerity' jibe is a bit below the belt.

And he had to be in Barrow on Sunday, which is something a lot of previous managers would not have done.

He didn't take them round on Sunday it was Wednesday after his visit to the club and media duties.
