Anyone driven to Salford in the past, how bad is parking near the ground?

You could park in their home end, probably plenty of room.

Ground is in a residential area. My advice. Get within half a mile and find any street to park in.

Possible any restrictions may not apply on bank holidays either but check what the plate says!

I got a ticket last time we played them over a bank holiday for parking in the residential area even though the sign said no match day parking on a Saturday/Tuesday. Should’ve contested it really with it being Monday

I went there earlier in the season against Bristol Rovers. Parked on road about 10 minutes walk from ground. No problems.

I cycled there last time I went, and was locking my bike to the fence outside the ground when one of the stewards told me I could bring it into the ground to lock it up. He even opened the gate for me, very obliging. Don't think that would work with a car though.

Last word on this just in case we have to go there again. Local bylaw restricts parking on residential streets around Peninsula Stadium to permit holders on match days only. However this extends only to a few hundred yards around the ground. The main roads north and south of the ground roughly mark the boundaries.
