Thank you

Post by Adam29 » Sat Apr 23, 2022 11:05 pm

Now that everything is certain and we are guaranteed survival.
I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who has got involved with our shows this season

We have 3 games left of course so I hope the texts and tweets continue.

I know I’m probably not everyone’s cup of tea
Yes I have zero media qualifications, never went to college never went to uni, one thing I can give everyone is the fact that this football club means the world to me. Before I moved into the press box I was on those terraces and there’s times that I wish I was still there.
This football club means everything to me.

I look forward to continuing in the role next season so let’s enjoy the final 3 games and well look forward to what the future brings

Good commentary from you Adam and Goody too I enjoy it when I'm not at the games, good after match talk too.
Carlisle may get more coverage sometimes but I think some people would never be happy however much we were covered, and we get a lot more than other teams at this level from other BBC Local radio.

It depends on what team did better. Carlisle got about as much airtime as Workington this afternoon. Won’t be able to please everyone but Adam and Goody do an incredible job. Thanks to you both and long may it continue.

We're lucky to have someone with your vast knowledge of Barrow AFC and also of the work you put in pre match. Don't put yourself down Adam your commentary and analysis is enjoyed by the majority Barrow fans.
Carry on the good work.

I have total respect for you Adam and formal qualifications aren't the be all and end all. The commentary is always good as is your contribution to this forum 👍

@Adam29 We are lucky to have you broadcasting the Barrow games. I think you do a great job.

I’ve noticed more Barrow fans getting involved with the pre and post match shows on RC. No doubt down to your hard work getting people engaged.

We should be thanking you not the other way round.

Great coverage again this season Adam with you and your co commentators. Always have it on if we are away or have to work. Can relax for the next 3 games now and look forward to next season which I hope will be less stressful

The two of you are tremendous. You Adam are obviously a huge supporter of the team, but you can be necessarily objective when called for. It's a perfect balance. You deserve all the credit that you get.

Now now Adam you know you are the best commentator on RC.
Can only imagine you would move into a bigger programme who knows Five live.
Thorough ,consistent and impartial even when it involves Barrow AFC.

Been nothing but impressed with your comms Adam, and the dynamic you have with Goody who I think always offers a great critique.

You’re honestly a natural and we’ll do well to keep hold of you. I’ve watched quite a few other games this season and heard a good mixture local commentators and non of them are a patch.
