Where is this Luke Garrard thing coming from. As good as he is he sticks to his club like glue and even if he wanted a move there are Southern based EFL clubs that would be more appealing and could afford to pay.

Think the clues are all contained in this thread. A northern based manager who is currently employed. Suggests this must be one of the current managers of either Halifax, Chesterfield, Solihull (interviewee last time I think) or Gateshead. We should watch the NL playoffs with some interest.

For one moment I thought I'd read Gerrard! Instead of Garrard?
Why would we wish to have a manager from a League below? Have any of the current managers listed managed at a higher level? None of the NL clubs mentioned have been promoted. Gateshead have but from a division two leagues below us.

The playing budget is pretty high there (it has been suggested in the local media and even on national television that it is in the region generally applicable to an upper League One club) and it would need something pretty dramatic to push/drag him in our direction.

Fair comment but if we are doing everything above board why can’t we name who we are head hunting, for me I can’t even weigh up why the club put the statement out anyway as could all go to rats.
