Wonder why it was pre-recorded when anyone with half a brain knew that the announcement was going to be made today! Oh sorry, it's Barrow isn't it - not Carlisle. :sentoff:
Because every Friday night show is recorded and not live maybe.

Just a guess you know.

Did you really expect it to be any other way.?
They are probably saving it for tomorrow afternoon. Tonights show is only one hour tomorrow they four hours to fill between 2 and 6.
Peter Wild is on Radio Cumbria on Tuesday nights show.

Pretty sad if it’s prerecorded- hardly an up to date sports news programme then is it. I wonder what would have happened if Carlisle had named a new boss this morning would they have still used the prerecorded programme.

More than likely as presenters are probably told a week in advance when they are doing a live show. BBC are using pre recorded shows more and more these days and Radio Cumbria are no exception. A sign of the times I guess and funding cuts.

Maybe it's something to do with being out of season where football takes a back seat.

That’ll hurt the “we’re still Lancashire” brigade

Yet another thread turned into a moanathon about Radio Cumbria.
Popular side since '03.

Lancashire-the land of sparking clogs, flat caps, whippets and Morecambe.
Having said that, Morecambe are orite.

Nope
The shows are usually live
Tonight’s was scheduled in advance - we only found out this morning that he was definitely being announced at 11am today so by then it was too late to change what was a scheduled show - my interview has been on social media since early this afternoon - it will also be aired tomorrow afternoon as well as conversation with myself amongst the cricket updates
